This is better than Dog(2) . Better composed.

Lesson Learned
(1)Apply the correct strokes the first time , reworking the modeling paste makes it powdery.
(2) Refer to Chinese Painting Book as Visual Referance.
(3) Only strokes outline form of the dog , not too thick , leave most of body as empty spaces.

Painting Process : Two part painting : (1) Texture with light modeling paste and knifes (2) Rub acrylic colors with hand.

Result : Light modeling paste is ideal for texturing animal subject. Coloring method needs to be explored further.
