The mimosa plant leaves close up when touched. They refused to open up even when submerged in boiling water.

These works imposes on the mimosa plant the human idea of "open" , "openess" and "freedom".

Emulsion with Starch Glue

This formula seems to be promising. Overnight drying , there is no visible cracks. The bigger lump is still soft on the inside, not fully dry yet.

2010 Postcard show Reluctant Mosquito Series

Unfortunately , the mosquito dead body is very fragile , after a few days the legs begins to fall off.

To do this artwork , the many mosquitos need to be caught and pasted within a day , lamination done the day after.
